Mark Your Calendars for Titanic Tarot: Risen Spirits.

On 2/22/22, we'll be launching the second edition of Titanic Tarot. This second edition will be called Titanic Tarot: Risen Spirits. The majority of the artwork will be updated for the Minor Arcana. A few of the cards for the Majors will also be updated. Other additonal features will include borderless cards. This will allow more of the artwork to be seen.
Two of the Majors that will be updated, include The Lovers card and The World card. For The Lovers card I decided to go with a more youthful and loving couple.
For The World Card, I made a special additon to the card. I didn't have to add anythig because this is by far my favorite card.... BUT I'll give you a little backstory to this card and why I made an addition. Back in 2019 when I was running the Kickstarter project for the first edition of Titanic Tarot, I was contacted by the mother of a friend of mine. She told me that her daughter, Julia, was abused by her husband and that earlier the day before he abandoned her in NYC with no money. Julia was a young Russian woman who married a man from Long Island. It was during the night when Julia's cellphone died and she lost contact with her mohter. This is why her mohter contacted me. She wanted me to contact the police to report her daughter missing. As I was about to do just that, I had a feeling come over me that said I could find her myself. It took six hours of searching the streets of NYC and using my intuition to guide me... BUT I found her. When I brought her back to my house, I gave her the prototype World card. I told her this card represents you and your new chance at life. After that, she returned home to her parents in Moscow. Every year since, both her and her mom reach out to me... to give me thanks for helping and also to give me a update on her life. This year, I was happy to find out that she married a new man and their expecting their first baby. In fact, she's due any day now. In honor of that moment, I updated the world card to reflect the two lives that changed the fateful day. I'm a strong believer that if you save one life, you save the world entire. I'm not saying a saved her life... I helped her out of a difficult situation and put her on a path that she finds herself on now. If I wasn't there, I'm sure someone else would've found her and helped her. I'm happy that she's doing good now.
In the first edition of Titanic Tarot, the Minor Arcana was underwater scenes. When put together (like a puzzle) they formed a large image of the Titanic as it was sinking. For this addition, we decided to redo all of the underwater scenes and instead show life on the Titanic and also areas connected to the Titanic. For example, the Jane Hotel (formerly known as the American Seamen's Friend Society Sailors' Home and Institute... during the time of the Titanic) will be featured in one of the cards. Many of the survivors stayed her once they arrived in NYC. Other cards will show the Tianic being built and the crew of the rescue boat, Carpatia, being award for their efforts.
